How to Fix the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification
The Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) validation tool is a built-in program with some of the Microsoft products, such as Windows Media Player or Microsoft Office. WGA will test your operating system for license to make sure you are not using a pirate version. If the test is failed, then you will see WGA notifications at reboot, warning you that your Windows version might not be legitimate and offering the choice of installing a licensed version. However, you might fail the test in case of a fully legitimate operating system if it has not been activated, or if it has buggy updates or faulty programming. A simple registry fix will remove the notifications. However, you will need to install the WinRar archiver program to install the fix, as the solution comes in a compressed format.
