How to Hook Up Your PC to Your TV Using a VGA Cord
The line that exists to separate televisions and computer monitors has blurred more and more as technology advances. Many newer TVs can now serve as standard televisions as well as computer monitors. With this new merging of functionality, you can now watch movies that are on your computer's hard drive on your TV. You can also free up space by using your monitor as a TV, and simply switching between their functions as needed.
