How to Set Up Aim Mobile
AOL Instant Messenger, or AIM, is among the world's most popular programs for instant messaging. If you use AIM and want to stay connected to your buddies when you are on the go, most mobile phones have the ability to use AIM. Set up AIM Mobile on your Windows Mobile device to chat with your friends and family even when you are not at your computer.

Open a web browser on your phone and browse to m.aol.com. Tap the orange "AIM" icon at the top of the window.

Tap "Download AIM for Windows Mobile." Alternatively, you can choose your phone carrier from the drop-down menu and tap "Submit" to see specific instructions for downloading AIM Mobile using your phone's built-in menus.

Tap the "Get AIM for Windows Mobile" button. Scroll to the bottom of the window and tap "Download AIM for Windows Mobile" link. Save the installation .CAB file to your documents folder, or the location of your choice. Run the .CAB file when the download is complete. When the Windows logo stops spinning, the application will be installed.

Tap the "Launch AIM" button.

Read the terms of use for AIM Mobile. If you agree, tap the "Accept" button.

Enter your screen name and password and tap "Sign In."

Tap the name of a buddy on your list to send a message.

Tips & Warnings
AIM for Windows Mobile is compatible with Windows Mobile 5 or later. If you have a phone with an earlier version of Windows Mobile, use AIM TXT by texting the command "help" to 246246.
