      Get warm water in a cup. Either run warm water into a cup from the faucet or heat water in the microwave or in a pan on the stove so it is warm but not hot.

      It is not safe to drink hot water.

      Add a teaspoon of baking soda to half a cup or a full cup of water. Stir to dissolve the baking soda.

      Drink the water. This introduces alkaline to the system to counteract the acid to put the body back in balance.
