Instructions

    • 1

Make a paste of baking soda with water and rub the stains using your finger or a dishcloth. Rinse well. This is a natural method that usually works for mugs and glasses that don't have an accumulation of stains.

    • 2

Sprinkle a wet mug with a bleach-containing scouring powder if stains are hard to remove. Scrub with a dishcloth and rinse well.

    • 3

Put glassware stained by iced tea and very stubborn stains in a dish pan. Cover the cups or glasses with warm water. Add about 1/2 cup of liquid chlorine bleach. Let the mugs or cups soak 15 minutes or longer. Then rinse your cups and mugs thoroughly.

Tips & Warnings

  • Treat any stain with each washing. If you wait and let the brown stains accumulate, they will be harder to remove.
