How to win Map 3 on Level Hard in Bloons Tower Defense 4
"Bloons Tower Defense 4" is a browser-based tower defense game developed by NinjaKiwi. Players must use a variety of defensive structures to destroy an army of invading balloons. Each level in "Bloons Tower Defense 4" has three different versions, based on the difficulty setting selected at the beginning of the game. On the "Hard" difficulty setting, balloons are stronger and move much more quickly. You can win "Map 3" on hard in just a few minutes with the right selection of defensive structures.

Place three dart monkeys at the apex of each major turn in the path. "Map 3" is shaped like a four-leaf clover with the top-left leaf broken. Place a dart monkey along the top, bottom and right-hand curves to cover those sections of the map in the early phases of the game.

Upgrade the dart monkeys once you have enough money. Every time you defeat a balloon you gain money in the form of bananas. The bananas can be spent to upgrade your monkeys, making them more efficient in battle. Upgrade a monkey by clicking on it, then selecting "Upgrade" from the context menu.

Build banana farms whenever possible. Banana farms are passive structures that generate money over time. Building a banana farm can leave you with less defenses in the early game, but grow more valuable as time passes. Aim to have between six and eight banana farms at the end of the level.

Place a boomerang monkey inside of each of the circles. Boomerang monkeys deal damage to groups of balloons. Placing your boomerang monkeys inside of the circles will allow them to hit balloons more often, as the boomerangs will continue to cause damage when returning to the monkey.

Build at least one mortar tower before round 24. Mortar towers have the longest range in the game and are the only structures able to detect camouflaged balloons. Camouflaged balloons will begin to appear on wave 24. Try to upgrade your mortar tower whenever possible as the number of camouflaged balloons increases with each successive wave.

Build at least three cannon towers before round 28. Cannon towers deal a huge amount of area damage and are effective against lead balloons. Lead balloons will begin to appear on the 28th round. You will require at least three to keep up with their high defenses. Continue to upgrade your cannon towers whenever possible.

Construct a pineapple bomber before the 42nd round. Pineapple bombs deal damage in clusters and have a random chance to deal extremely high damage with each explosion. Pineapple bombs will make the later rounds much easier.

Build two beacons during round 60. Beacons are special towers that increase the effectiveness of your other towers. They are very expensive, but should be easily affordable by round 60. Build one beacon on the northern half of the map and the other on the southern half of the map to maximize their coverage.

Continue to upgrade all your towers whenever possible. You'll need to have most of your towers at their maximum upgrade levels by the end of the map. The map ends on round 71. If you can survive the final round, you win the map.
