How to Make Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

- Single package 2-layer yellow cake mix
- 2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
- Large mixing bowl
- Large spoon
- 22 oz. canned raisin pie filling
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- Beater
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Cookie sheets
- Tablespoon

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine the cake mix with the rolled oats in a large mixing bowl. Mix these ingredients together with a large spoon.

Add the raisins, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and oil into the bowl. Crack two eggs and add them to the bowl. Blend the ingredients together with a beater.

Stir in the walnuts and pecans. Grease the cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray.

Spoon out the cookie dough with a tablespoon, leaving 2 inches between the cookies.
