How to Upgrade HP Pavilion Memory

When upgrading laptop memory, either one or two memory strips may be installed into the HP Pavilion laptop. However, if two memory strips are installed, they must be identical in speed and size. For example, if one memory strip is 512 kb, the second must be 512 kb as well. Performing a memory upgrade on an HP Pavilion laptop is a very simple operation. Just ensure that the laptop memory to be installed is a viable upgrade and compatible with the HP Pavilion.
