How to Sync Contacts From Outlook to iPod Contacts

You can sync contacts from Microsoft Outlook e-mail software to your iPod using the iTunes for Windows software. This will give you easy access to your address book whenever you have your iPod with you. You must have Outlook 2003 or greater installed on your computer to be able to sync your contacts between your iPod and the Outlook software.

      Download and install the Apple iTunes software for Windows.

      Open the iTunes software. It will be found under the "Start" menu in your task bar.

      Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable that came with your iPod.

      Select your iPod from the "Devices" menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

      Choose the "Contacts" tab from the task bar above the iPod picture in the main part of the screen.

      Click the check box next to "Sync contacts from."
