How to Make a Picture Look Like a Comic

Changing a photo from the standard form to a comic form is an entertaining and popular effect. With a simple shareware program you can download from the Internet, you can open your photos in the software and quickly turn them into cartoon or comic pictures. After you use the shareware software for ten comics, you will need purchase the software for extended use.

Things You'll Need

• Digital photograph
• Color printer (optional)

Instructions

1. Visit Caricaturesoft to download the shareware program. Click the "Setup" file on your computer, and while software installs.

2. Find the new "Pencil" icon on your desktop (the shortcut that does not say "Setup") and click this to open the program.

3. Click "Load Photo" to open a window that will allow you to browse through your files on your computer. Select the photo you want by highlighting it and clicking "Open."

4. Adjust the settings by moving the sliders to make the photo smoother or crisper and to include fewer or more details. When you are happy with the image, click "Save Image." Name the image a new and original name to preserve your original photo.

5. Print the photo with your printer if you desire.
