How to Activate Hibernate Mode on a Laptop
Hibernate Mode on Windows allows you to conserve power without shutting down applications. The current state of the computer is saved to the hard disk and the computer shuts down. When you power on your computer, your previous settings are restored from the hard disk. This is especially convenient if you are using your laptop on battery power. Turning on hibernate mode is a simple process in all versions of Windows.
