How to Set BlackBerry Ringtones
BlackBerry smart phones are extremely customizable, and it begins with the ringtone. However, with so many options and levels of customization, this can become confusing. But you can follow a few simple steps to set a new ringtone.

Click on "Profiles" from the BlackBerry's main menu by scrolling to it with the trackball and clicking on it. If you're using a Blackberry Storm, you'll be using your finger to highlight and tap on folders instead of using the trackball. Scroll down to "Advanced" and click on it. This will open up a new screen where you can edit your profiles.

Select the profile you'd like your ringtone to play from and highlight it by scrolling down to it with the trackball. Press the BlackBerry options button and select "Edit." This will open a new dialogue box where you can edit many aspects of the BlackBerry sounds, but all you'll be doing is changing one ringtone.

Scroll down to "Phone" and click on it. This will again open a new dialogue box.

Scroll down to "Tune" and click on it. This will open a drop-down menu with a list of the ringtones on your phone. Scroll to your desired tone and click on it to set that as your ringtone.

Press the red power button to exit out of all of the dialogue boxes. Click on 'Profiles" again from the main menu and highlight the profile that you set a ringtone for. Click on it to finish setting the ringtone.
