Reduce your exposure to sunlight. Direct contact with the sun's rays can darken your skin, even in just a couple of outings. Prevention is one of the most natural ways to lighten your skin, so if you are active outdoors, cover your skin with high SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat and cool, cotton clothing.

Apply undiluted lemon juice directly to your skin. Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent that over time can lighten your skin. Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice and rub it over your skin, allowing it to dry before washing it clean. Repeat this twice daily.

Create a mixture of fresh aloe vera juice and cucumber juice. Mix it thoroughly and apply it to your face before bed. Allow it to dry and sleep with it to promote lightening while you sleep.

Grind dried orange peels until you have about 1/2 cup. Mix ground orange peels with 1/2 cup of raw milk and stir until you have a paste. Adjust the mixture as necessary. Apply the paste to your skin and allow it to dry before washing the skin clean with warm water.
