Things You'll Need
- Highlight cap
- Crochet hook
- Clarifying shampoo
- Conditioner
- Liquid or cream lift (hair bleach)
- Blond hair dye
- Gloves
- Towel

Put on the highlighting cap. Make sure that all of your hair is underneath the cap.

Use a crochet hook to pull sections of hair through the holes in the cap. Pull thin strands through for an all-over streaky look. Pull thicker strands through for a chunky, dramatic look. Make sure that each section of hair is pulled through all the way before moving on to the next section.

Wash all of the hair that has been pulled through with a clarifying shampoo and then rinse.

Put on protective gloves. Apply a liquid or cream lift (hair bleach product) to all of the exposed hair. Allow it to penetrate, leaving it on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing completely.
