How to Correct a Bad Attitude at Work
Maybe you feel like your boss doesn't appreciate your work. Or perhaps clients are giving you a hard time. There could be many reasons for having a bad attitude in the workplace. Whatever the cause, it could become a problem over time, especially if clients and co-workers complain about you. In a difficult economy, a boss wouldn't think twice about firing you. Steps need to be taken to correct your bad attitude before it becomes too late.

Make a list of what's bothering you and look at it objectively. You might be at fault. Other things are easily correctable. But you have to know what's bringing you down.

Address your concerns. For example, you might be upset that your boss passed you over for a promotion. Schedule a meeting and ask her what you have to do better. Or maybe a co-worker plays a radio too loud. Politely ask him to turn it down.

Compensate in another way. Maybe you did get snubbed for a promotion, but do the best job you can in another niche. Or make up for it in client relations.
