How to Make Creamy Smoothie Protein Drinks
If you want to keep in shape, but still have a sweet tooth, try drinking smoothies. Most smoothies are low-fat, healthy drinks. You can enjoy them as a snack or use them as a meal replacement. These sweet treats are all less than 265 calories and they will satisfy your craving for a sweet treat. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- For pumpkin smoothie:
- 1/2 cup low-fat, butter pecan ice cream
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 3 ice cubes
- Blender
- For honey pecan smoothie:
- 1/2 cup low-fat butter pecan ice cream
- 1tablespoon vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
- 1 dash of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 3 ice cubes
- For berry yogurt smoothie
- 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries or raspberries
- 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup of white grape juice

Creamy Pumpkin Smoothie

Put ½ cup low-fat butter pecan ice cream, ½ cup canned pumpkin, ½ cup low-fat milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla whey protein and 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed in a blender.

Add in three ice cubes.

Blend the ingredients in the blender until smooth.
Honey Pecan Smoothie

Put ½ cup low-fat butter pecan ice cream, ½ cup low-fat milk, 1tablespoon vanilla whey protein powder, 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed, 1 dash of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of honey in the blender.

Add three ice cubes.

Mix in blender on medium speed until creamy and smooth.
Berry Yogurt Smoothie

Put 1 cup of frozen strawberries or raspberries, 1/2 cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt, 1/2 cup of white grape juice in the blender.
