Write a mission statement. A mission statement is used for the organization to tell why it exists. Your organization might provide meals to the homeless, shoes to school children, new homes for disaster victims, or whatever else you may choose.

Think about sponsorships and other concerns. Some of the things you are going to need are a lawyer, an accountant, a bank account and a banker, and an insurance agent. You will also need to get articles of incorporation drafted(and approved by your board members), get bylaws drafted(and approved by your board members), get incorporated by your state, become tax exempt, become property tax exempt, acquire your mail permit, acquire your solicitation license, acquire a federal tax number, and acquire unemployment insurance req's.

Now for the easy part. You have done the hard part. All you have to do at this point is make sure you have done everything right. Check and recheck as many times as is necessary.
