How to Make a Naruto Paper Kuinai Knife Out of Paper
In the popular Anime series, Naruto characters commonly throw many small metal knives called Kuinai to dispatch their opponents. As the show has grown in popularity fans have taken it upon themselves to dress and act like characters from the show, doing what is commonly known as Cosplay. Anime conventions frown upon the use of real knives during Cosplay, but paper-crafted Kuinai Knifes are a cheap and safe alternative.

Take the first sheet of paper and cut it, so that it is in the shape of a perfect square.

Grasp the top right corner of the square and fold it so that it touches the bottom left corner. You should have a perfect right triangle.

Grasp the two farthest edges of the triangle and fold them so that they touch. You should have a smaller right triangle.

Unfold the paper once. The paper should appear like the first triangle, but now with a crease going down the middle.

Take the two halves of the triangle and fold them inward, so that the edges of the paper are folded parallel to each other and hidden in the crease. This should look like a "V" shape on paper.

Repeat Step 5 until the paper is as slim as you desire, then tuck the flap folds inside the body of the knife. This will be the blade of the Paper Kuinai Knife.

Take the second piece of paper and roll it until it is thin and flat. Then, tape the paper tube so that it doesn't unravel.

Using a series of 90 degree turns and folds in the paper make a loop at the end of the paper. Then tape the loop so that it doesn't unravel. This will be the handle of the Paper Kuinai Knife.

Insert the finished handle into the space in the back of the blade of the Paper Kuinai Knife, and secure it with tape or staples.

Tips & Warnings
The Paper Kuinai Knife is flimsy and not very good for throwing. However, if you drop a thin weight, like a penny into the blade and secure it, it will fly easier through the air.
