How to create an account with Facebook

Facebook is the free social networking site founded in 2004. By 2011, it was arguably the largest and most accessible networking site. Signing up is easy, but you must have an email account.

Things You'll Need

• internet access
• an email account

Instructions

1. Visit the main facebook page at facebook.com.

2. Fill in the registration form on the main page. It asks for your name, email address, a password, gender and day of birth.

3. Open the confirmation email in your inbox. Click the link in the email to activate the account.
