Instructions

    • 1

Take an oral nettle supplement tablet by mouth one per day or as instructed by the supplement bottle. The dosage that has demonstrated the best results is 500 mg daily.

    • 2

Take an oral supplement of saw palmetto or pygeum on a daily basis along with the nettle supplement. The recommended daily dosage is 60 mg of pygeum and 320 mg of saw palmetto. Nettle has shown the best results when combined with one of these two supplements. It is not necessary to take both saw palmetto and pygeum simultaneously as this has shown to have no additional beneficial result.

    • 3

Apply pure nettle oil directly to the scalp on a daily basis before bed. Apply one to two teaspoons directly to the scalp and massage it in for approximately 60 seconds. Put on a shower cap and leave the solution on the scalp overnight. Shampoo as normal the next morning.

Tips & Warnings

  • When purchasing nettle or nettle root extract, look for 100 percent pure nettle.

  • When purchasing saw palmetto, make sure it is from the berry extract and not the dried berry itself.

  • Nettle root should not be used by people who have heart or kidney problems.

  • Consult a doctor prior to taking nettle or any other extract.
