How to Deactivate a Home Alarm
Home alarms use sensors on each window and door that are connected through a circuit located somewhere in your house. When your windows and doors are closed, the alarm is able to run voltage through the circuit. When a door or window is open, the circuit is broken, and the alarm sounds. If you want to disable your alarm all together, you can locate the your power source and shut off the circuit. Most alarms usually have a battery source just in case of a power outage. You will also have to disconnect this batter to deactivate the alarm. It will be located in the metal box where all the components of your alarm system originate. Does this Spark an idea?
