Lift the Headlight Hood, pull out the handle on the nozzle and turn it clockwise (toward the green arrows) until the red arrows are lined up. This disengages the belt and brush.

    • 5

Turn the Accessory Lock back to the right to lock the hose in place.

    • 6

Attach one or two Extension Tubes to the end of the hose to extend your reach, for instance if you will be vacuuming a large piece of furniture.

    • 7

Place the Zippbrush securely on the end of the hose or tube.

    • 8

Turn on the Kirby unit and vacuum stairs, upholstery or other surfaces. The spinning of the brush provides the best cleaning. Don't press so hard that the brush cannot spin.
