How to Wash Human Hair

Human hair is used for hair extensions and wigs to give you the look of real hair, but also requires the same amount of attention and care. While most hair extension products come with hair care instructions, you need to know how to properly wash human hair. It is very important to treat human hair like you would your own hair so that your hair style can last longer. This can be achieved by taking the right steps when washing human hair along with using the right hair care products

Things You'll Need

• Moisturizing shampoo
• Water (lukewarm)
• Towel
• Blow Dryer

Instructions

1. Comb hair well before washing to remove any tangles. Tangled human hair becomes extremely matted when wet.

2. Wet hair with lukewarm water. Ensure that hair is completely saturated with water.

3. Coat wet hair with moisturizing shampoo. Lightly squeeze the shampoo from the top through hair ends. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing hair to prevent it from tangling.

4. Rinse well with clear lukewarm water. Use a downward motion and pull water through hair using your fingers when rinsing. Do not rub the hair this will cause it to tangle.

5. Dry the hair using a blow dryer or to dry the hair naturally use a towel to soak up excess water and leave to air dry on a clean towel.
