Instructions

1
Gather all of your items into the work area.
-
2
However many holes your findings have, you will need to make one for each. For instance, if your finding is a teardrop shape with one hole in the center (inside the shape) and three holes on the outer edge of the bottom of the shape, you will need to make four dangles. The dangle can be however long you wish, with however many links you wish.

3
Thread a bead(s) onto an eyepin. Cut the extra wire off the free end to make it the length you wish. Roll the cut end into a loop, leaving it a little open.
-
4
Repeat step 3 until you have eight links.
-
5
Repeat step 3 four times using the headpins.
-
6
Thread the open end of one of the eyepin links into the eye (closed end) of another eyepin link and close the open loop completely (this is the joint). Thread the open end of one of the headpin links onto the eye of the links you just joined.
-
7
Repeat step 6 four times to create four dangles.
-
8
Thread the open end of a dangle through one hole in the finding. Finish the loop by closing it completely. Repeat step 7 to attach all of the dangles to the metal finding.
-
9
Thread the jump ring through the hole on the top of the finding, then thread the ear clasp through the jump ring, then close the jump ring by pressing the ends of it together.

Tips & Warnings
Working on a tray or using bowls with large openings to contain items makes working easier.
In general, you want the links to be able to move about, the more beads on each individual link the less movement there will be in that link, and so you are better off limiting the number of beads on each link depending on their size.
To make a three layered/linked dangle use two eyepin and one headpin, to make more links/layers use more eyepins, each dangle will only have one head pin to create the bead stop at the bottom.
Altering the length of your links can create varying looks, as can using a verity of beads. Experiment with your designs and have fun.
Some people are allergic to certain metals, it is best to use hyper-allergenic varieties of metals for ear clasps.
Plastic chandelier findings are available; however, they are more difficult to work with, as they tend to break easily and often do not look as nice next to the metal ear clasps and pins.
The cut ends of the wire may be sharp; you can file them or hammer them slightly to blunt them if necessary. Either way, close them completely in the loops so that they do not scratch the skin when worn.
