Remove facial hair with tweezers. When removing small patches or a few individual hairs, plucking is fast and extremely effective. Using tweezers to remove hair leads to longer lasting results than most methods and it does not require the use of additional products. Long-term facial hair removal with tweezers will also lead to hair root damage, which will eventually prevent the offending hairs from regrowing.

    • 2

Bleach facial hair with creams designed for facial use. The bleach is applied directly to the facial hair and rinsed away with cold water after approximately 10 minutes. Bleaching hair does not remove the facial hair but it can make it less noticeable and removes the risk of ingrown hairs or pain. Only use hair bleach that is meant to be used on facial hair since it is gentle on the skin. Always test the product on a small patch of hair to check for allergic reaction.

Remove facial hair with hair removal cream that can be used on facial hair. Hair removal cream can be purchased at any drug store and is often found near shaving cream. Apply the hair removal cream to the affected area, leave on for the directed time and rinse off. The facial hair will rinse away with the cream.

Shave the facial hair using a razor. Never shave without using shaving cream or gel to help reduce skin irritation or dryness. Only remove small patches of facial hair with shaving and moisturize shaved areas with facial lotion or cream immediately after shaving. Watch for stiff new hair growth, which can return in a few days.
