How to Connect Dish Network to a Phone Line
Connecting your Dish Network receiver to a telephone line enables you to access a variety of premium services, including on-screen Caller ID display, pay-per-view movies and games. You can also connect to Dish Network through DishHOME Channel 100 to update your programming package and pay your bill. If you are using a dual-tuner receiver, the monthly fee for the second receiver connection will be waived if you keep it connected to a phone line.

Plug one end of the included phone line cable into the phone input jack on the back of your Dish Network receiver. If you no longer have the cable that was included in your Dish Network receiver packaging, any standard phone cable will work.

Plug the opposite end of the phone line cable into nearest telephone wall jack.

Reboot your receiver. You should be able to access pay-per-view and other services.
