Pour 3 tbsp. lemon juice and 3 tbsp. water into a bowl. Stir the ingredients for two minutes to blend. Lemon juice contains citric acids that act as a natural astringent to dry the pimple, reduce inflammation, and remove dead skin cells that can clog the pores and contribute to acne production.

Dab 2 to 4 cotton balls in lemon juice water and apply to acne-infected skin. Lightly dab the skin with the cotton ball. Do not rub. Rubbing the area can cause the skin to become more irritated. Be sure to coat the acne-affected area entirely.

Allow the lemon juice water to soak on the face overnight. Wash off in the morning with cool water. Repeat this treatment once daily for three weeks for best results.
Sweet Cinnamon Acne Cleanser

Pour 3 tbsp. honey and 3 tbsp. cinnamon into a bowl. Stir the ingredients for two minutes to properly blend. Honey contains antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and causes a hydrogen peroxide effect when reacting with the body's fluids. Cinnamon contains antioxidants and antimicrobial properties that help protect the skin from bacteria and pollutants.

Dip 2 to 4 cotton balls into the honey cinnamon cleanser and apply to the acne-affected area. Apply this cleanser to the skin before going to bed.
