How to Put Semi-Permanent Eyelashes On
Everyone is beautiful in their own way, but people have all kinds of insecurities. Some think they're overweight, some think their nose is too big, some think their eyes are too far apart and some people feel their eyelashes are too sparse and/or short. Whether or not this is a problem of self-image or a real issue involving hair follicles, everyone deserves to feel good about themselves. False eyelashes are used for costume purposes, but they are also used for everyday eyelash enhancement. 1
Before applying the adhesive, place the false eyelashes on top of your lashes and trim them slightly. Make sure you have sharp scissors, as this is a delicate job. False eyelashes are usually extremely exaggerated and if you want a natural look, it is best to trim the length to a believable one. Be very careful as you will be holding pointy scissors close to your eyes.

2
Remove all makeup. Make sure your eyelids and eyelashes are clean, dry and there is no oily residue. The adhesive won't work if your skin is oily or if you use oily makeup around or on your eyes.

3
Draw on a thin line of black or very dark eyeliner to get an idea of where the eyelashes should go. The eyeliner will also hide any part of the lid that may not be completely covered by the false lashes.

4
Put a small amount of the eyelash glue on the back of your hand or a piece of paper. Pick up the the eyelashes with tweezers and lightly dip the edges in the glue. Wait 15 to 30 seconds for it to dry a little. Do not apply the glue directly to your eyelid; it should only be applied to the fake lashes.

5
Apply the lashes carefully to the lash line on your eye, smoothing down carefully with a toothpick or another small, thin object. If you are using individual lash pieces, start from the outsides of the eye and smooth them on moving toward your nose and the inside of your eye. If you are using whole lash strips, apply from the inside toward the outside edge. Once the lashes have been fully pressed on from edge to edge, close your eyes for one minute and continue applying pressure to them.

6
To create the most natural look, use an eyelash curler and carefully curl the false eyelashes onto your own lashes to reduce the separation. You can also apply a light coat of mascara. Lastly, always line the base of your lashes with a liquid liner to minimize white space

When removing your eyelashes, don't tear them off. Use makeup remover to liquefy the glue and gently pull off the eyelashes, either piece by piece or, if it's a solid strip, lift it off the eyelid. You don't want to cause yourself pain or cause any damage to your eye. Be careful not to get glue in your eye as well. Clean your falsies thoroughly if you plan on reusing them.
