Things You'll Need:

  • Aluminum Foil
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Use scissors to cut a 1-inch wide strip of aluminum foil. Wrap the foil around your finger a few times to create thickness, which will make the ring more sturdy. Trim off the excess foil. Use a piece of tape to hold it in place. You now have the basic ring.

Take a square piece of aluminum foil and fold it from one corner to the opposite corner to create a triangle. Fold it a second time to create a smaller triangle. Take a piece of tape and secure the triangle to the ring. Do this while wearing the ring so that it does not get smashed.

Fold the edges of the triangle upward bringing them together. This will create a 3D effect. You can shape the faux stone a little more if you want a stone shaped in a cut other than marquis. Use a tiny piece of tape to seal the top of the diamond together. Your fake diamond ring is complete.

Tip

Add glitter glue to provide extra sparkle.

Warnings:

  • Be careful handling your aluminum foil jewelry as it can bend easily.
