How to Remove Surgical Tape From the Skin
Surgical tape is a type of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that is used to hold a bandage in place over a wound. It can also be used instead of stitches or glue to close wounds. You may find the process of removing surgical tape from your skin unpleasant, especially if the adhesive has adhered strongly to your skin or hair.

Tips & Warnings
If the tape is sticking to hair on your skin, you may want to use an adhesive remover or moisturizer to ease the removal. As you are removing the tape, rub a little bit of the lotion beneath and around the edge of the tape. The oils will soften the adhesive and make it easier to remove without pulling out the hair. Be careful not to contaminate the wound with the lotion or adhesive remover if you choose to use this method.
