Instructions

    • 1

Wipe away the moisture that has accumulated on the exterior of the glass using a clean towel. Begin wiping at the top of the window and work your way to the bottom. Adjust the towel frequently in order to keep using a dry section.

    • 2

Spray the window with glass cleaner once all the excess moisture has been absorbed.

    • 3

Wipe the window with clean paper towels to remove the lint transferred to the window by the towel and to remove the smudges caused while wiping.

Tips & Warnings

  • Call a trained technician if the steps above fail to treat the issue. Moisture trapped inside of a double-paned window cannot be removed without the help of an expert. They will drill small holes into the window, spray cleaner into the space and suck it out of the bottom of the window with a vacuum. They will fill the space in between the windows with a gas, such as freon, and reseal the window to prevent air from seeping into the space and causing a buildup of condensation.
