Point your browser to the airline's website. Most airline websites have a section that allows you to track the location of the flight. At the very least, it can tell you the departure and arrival times and anticipated delays.

    • 2

Call the airline whose flight you are tracking. The representative can tell you whether the plane has left the airport, how long ago it left the airport, when it should land or if it has landed.

    • 3

Enter the airline code and flight number in Google's search engine. Google has the ability to track certain airlines online. For instance, typing in JAL 1130 in Google will give you information on Japan Airlines Flight 1130.
