Instructions

    • 1

Check the label to make sure that your clothing is washable. If it's a dry clean only item, you're better off taking it to the dry cleaners.

    • 2

Moisten the clean white cloth with rubbing alcohol and then gently blot the lipstick stain. Making sure that you don't rub as that will cause the stain to spread and further help it to set in. This can be repeated if needed.

    • 3

Apply a liquid dish detergent or a prewash stain remover to the stain and then rinse the garment in clear water.

    • 4

Apply a stain stick to the lipstick stain if needed and allow the stained clothing to sit for a few minutes before laundering. Then be sure to allow it to air-dry. If the stain is still visible, the heat from the dryer could cause it to set in, making it almost impossible to remove.

Take it to the dry cleaners if the stain is still visible.
