How to Make Homemade Instant Hot Chocolate Mix

Hot chocolate mixes are easy to find, but a homemade version can give you a little more chocolate taste. This version is easy to make. The biggest challenges are finding a large enough container to prepare it, and getting it all stirred up.

Things You'll Need

• 1 25 oz. box of non-fat dry milk
• 1 16 oz. container of pre-sweetened chocolate mix
• 1 16 oz. jar non-dairy creamer
• 1 13 oz. jar chocolate malted milk powder
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• Large mixing container
• Mixing spoon
• Airtight container

Instructions

1. Layer the ingredients in a large mixing container one at a time.

2. Stir the ingredients together with a large, slotted spoon until everything is mixed. This may take some time.

3. Store the mix in airtight containers until you are ready to make hot chocolate. Use 3 tbsp. of the mix in a mug for a single serving.

• To give the mix as a gift, fill a clean mason jar with the hot chocolate mix and enclose a card with instructions.
