Being a stay-at-home mom doesn't mean you can't make a few dollars while you are raising your children. There are ample opportunities for stay-at-home moms to find jobs that won't take them away from their children. Depending on your skill level, you can find work as an online concierge, a data entry agent or an expert answer giver. Know what to look for to find a legitimate job and avoid being burned by an online scammer.

Search the Web for stay-at-home-mom jobs. Be wary of websites that are scams that say you are going to make thousands per day. As a stay-at-home mom, you can make a good living but you probably aren't going to become a millionaire doing it. You can make enough money to help support the family. Fill out resumes for the trusted companies you find. Remember -- this is a career like any other job, but you are doing it from home instead of having to drive to an office every day and work the typical 9 to 5.

Prepare yourself for a work-at-home job. You'll need to have a fast interest connection and good typing skills. If you are lacking great typing skills, many local community colleges offer an inexpensive typing course.
