Instructions

    • 1

Line up participants at one end of the field. Contestants should step into the bag, one foot at a time until both legs are inside. The bag should come up to the player's hips.

    • 2

Announce the rules of the race. Both legs have to remain inside the bag and the bag should stay up around the waist. The first contestant to reach the end of the field wins.

    • 3

Shout "Go!" This will signal the racers to begin hopping inside their bags. Declare the winner when he crosses the line, but encourage the other players to reach the finish line.

Tips & Warnings

  • Determine the start and finish points before the race and explain the course to the players. You can do this by having the race go one direction and come back for variation. Another option is to have the players run to their bags, get in them and begin hopping.
