Tips & Warnings
Wear rubber gloves for safe application of Roundup. Cloth gloves can allow the Roundup to soak through to the skin.
After applying Roundup, do not re-use the mask. Discard it.
Avoid the area that has been sprayed by Roundup for at least two days. It takes up to two days for Roundup to dissolve into weeds' roots.
Do not use Roundup if you are pregnant. The active ingredient in Roundup--glyphosate--can cause birth defects in fetuses.
Do not use Roundup on a windy day. Wind can cause the spray to blow onto skin or into eyes. Surfactant, one of the other ingredients in Roundup, can cause skin irritation.
Do not use Roundup on a rainy day. Rain can cause the herbicide to wash into other areas of your yard, harming plants and possibly animals.
Keep pets off areas that have been treated by Roundup for at least two days.
