Instructions

    • 1

Mix 1/2 cup baking soda with 1/2 cup water. Rub this solution over your skin and allow it to sit for ten minutes. Simply rinsing your skin with water might not remove the perfume odor. The baking soda is needed to absorb the perfume odor from the skin.

    • 2

Add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle of your washing machine to remove perfume odor from clothing. Then, either hang the clothes to dry in the sun or tumble them in the dryer. The vinegar should remove the odors, but the heat and oxygen from the sun or dryer will also remove any remaining perfume odors.

    • 3

Pour vinegar in several small bowls and set them out in any rooms that contain a perfume odor. Over the course of a few hours, the vinegar will draw in the perfume odor. Then open a few windows to let some fresh air in.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also open a few cans of baking soda instead of setting out bowls of vinegar.

  • Be cautious when using perfume in the future. A little bit goes a long way.
