First, you need to make sure you get enough sleep. Sleep plays a primary role in how your face will turn out the next morning. The better rested your face is, the least likely you are to see blemishes.

Try not to eat as much greasy food, although most of us cannot stay away from it. Just try to keep this to a minimal.

Wash your face several times a day. Try not to use too much exfoliating face washes, they damage your skin and can be bad for you if overused. A good way to wash your face is by putting your face over a bowl of hot water so that your pores open up, allowing you to clean them out more efficiently.

Before you sleep, you can simply apply some tooth paste to your pimples. This will reduce redness and shrink the pimple over night! It works! Or you can use a pimple cream with benzyl peroxide. My experience is that the tooth paste will dry out the pimple and reduce redness.

To reduce the visibility of scarring or, in time, completely eliminate them, apply some hair conditioner to your skin where the scar appears. Leave it on and wipe it off with a towel after 30 minutes. You will not see immediate effects, but over time you will begin to see results.
