Flaxseed contains both Omega 3 fatty acids and Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 3 and Omega 6 (these are good fats) that aid in normal brain cell function and heart health. I think healthy brain and heart function is important to everyone. Flaxseed also contains lignans which have antioxidant actions and may prevent certain cancers.
