2. Recognize employee contributions regularly and sincerely. Add incentives for individual and team progress and goals.

3. Consider flexible scheduling to allow employees to do some work at home.

4. Surprise employees with unexpected perks, such as coffee and bagels or a movie after meeting a difficult deadline.

5. Organize outings or get-togethers outside of the workplace to foster a sense of community.

6. Allow for more flexibility at the office. Allow employees to work outside or hold a meeting at a secondary location instead of the conference room.
