How to Hang Colored Glass Candle Holders
Colored glass and stained glass candle holders look amazing when candles are lit inside of them. When hanging the candle holder, think also of where it will look great even when the candle is not lit inside of it. Hung right next to a large window or doorway, or even outside, the colored glass candle holder's prismatic colors will shine, even without a flame. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Screw hook
- Hammer
- Measuring tape
- Fishing line
- Scissors
- Colored glass candle holder

Put a screw hook up to the ceiling where you'd like to hang your candle holder.

Tap the screw into the ceiling lightly with a hammer. Once the screw is in far enough that you don't have to hold it in, begin screwing it.

Screw the hook in until it is in the ceiling all the way up to the base of the hook.

Measure from the hook to the height where you'd like the holder to hang. Cut fishing line to the appropriate length.

Attach the fishing line to the candle holder by simply tying it to the top of the holder.

Tie the fishing line to the hook on the ceiling; tie several knots so it stays on securely.

Tips & Warnings
If the candle holder weights more than 8 lbs., use a length of attractive chain instead of fishing line.
