How to Start a Toro Recycler Lawn Mower

Toro Recycler lawn mowers look like any other lawn mower.

Toro Recycler lawn mowers work just like any other lawn mower. The only difference is that the Toro Recycler's deck is easier to clean. Starting the mower is very similar to starting any ordinary lawn mower. Make sure that the motor is filled with regular unleaded gasoline and SAE 30 weight oil before starting; anything different may lead to motor failure.

Instructions

1. Locate the primer bulb on the right side of the mower. It looks like a half-round piece of rubber. Press it three times if the temperature is above 55 degrees F, or five times if is under. This pushes gas into the carburetor, which makes it easier to start.

2. Press the blade control until it is against the handle.

3. Turn the key located to the left side of the handle to turn the mower on.

Tips & Warnings

• If it has not been turned on in months or is brand new, the mower will require a few extra presses of the primer bulb.

• Once you let go of the blade control, the mower will automatically shut off.
