Instructions

    • 1

Divide your hair into two equal sections and braid each section. Keep the two braids loose so they will be flexible and easier to flatten to the head.

    • 2

Wrap one braid around the back of the head and continue to pull it across the top of the head as far as it will go. Pin the braid into place with hair pins.

    • 3

Repeat the wrapping with the second braid. Make sure the braid lies next to the first braid, not on top of it.

    • 4

Stretch the wig cap over your head, completely covering the braids. Tuck in any stray or flyaway hairs.

    • 5

Find the center front of your wig and put it on so it lies below your hairline. Pull the wig back to your hairline and stretch the rest of the wig over the wig cap.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have very thick hair, consider separating it into four braids instead of two.

  • You can place the braids on your head to help shape a wig. If you want more volume on the sides of the wig, pin the braids so they stand out more on the sides of your head.
