How to Sprout Adenium Seeds
Adenium obesum is a desert succulent that is known for its distinct shape and prolific blooming, which produces lots of flowers over a long period of time. The Adenium is also referred to as desert rose, mock azalea, impala lily and Sabi star. It is very popular with customers at garden centers and nurseries because it is easy to care for and is able to withstand drought conditions. Soak two paper towels with water. Place the Adenium seeds between the paper towels and leave them there for 2-4 hours. Check the paper towels frequently and add water as necessary so that they do not dry out.

Prepare a small, well drained planting pot with high quality cactus potting mix. Add water to the cactus mix until it is soaked throughout and then allow it to drain. Remove the seeds from the paper towels, plant them in the pot horizontally, 1/4 inch deep.

Put the pot in an area that gets direct sunlight and make sure it is not exposed to freezing temperatures.

Water at a rate that does not allow the soil to completely dry out, but do not over-water and make the mix soggy. Expect germination anywhere between 3-21 days.
