Instructions

    • 1

Combine 2 cups of sugar, 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan. Allow to cook over low heat until the mixture is golden brown and quite thick. Scoop the mixture into covered plastic containers.

    • 2

Allow to cool to room temperature before using your cold sugaring wax.

    • 3

Work with a small amount of cold wax for the face or a larger amount for areas on the body. Flatten the sugaring wax between your hands to approximately 1/8-inch thick. Place onto the area to be waxed, pressing firmly onto the skin.

    • 4

Hold the skin firmly with one hand and pull the sugaring wax off of the skin in the direction opposite hair growth.

    • 5

Use the same piece of cold sugaring wax again, folding and flattening it as needed. Discard and use a new piece of wax when the original becomes too sticky.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have trouble lifting the wax away from the skin, press a piece of paper or cotton muslin to the strip and then pull away.
