How to Redeem Manulife Worldpoints

In Canada, Manulife Bank through MBNA Canada Bank, offers Classic or Platinum Plus® Manulife Bank MasterCards® with WorldPoints® to bank patrons. The WorldPoints program supplies card users with a certain number of points--typically one half (Classic) or one (Platinum)--per dollar spent. MBNA Canada Bank provides cardholders with easy-to-access online tools (account information and product catalog) and round the clock customer service available 24 hours, 7 days a week to redeem points. Once you have reviewed your current WorldPoints balance total of accumulated points, you can easily locate reward products or services and make your redemption request.

Tips & Warnings

  • Gift certificates and/or cards from select retailers acquired through the WorldPoints Program may have an expiration date. Contact the retailer with any questions about expiration time frames.

  • Currency exchanges affect the number of WorldPoints earned on purchases with accumulated amounts based on the "Canadian currency equivalent" (see your updated card Terms and Conditions).

  • Always maintain your account balances and payments as Manulife Bank and MBNA Canada Bank reserve the right to close your account, void points or end your participation in the program if you don't meet terms and agreements.

  • Always review yearly the Terms and Conditions and User Agreement for the WorldPoints program to make certain that your points haven't expired. Although typically points don't expire and do carry over from year to year, MBNA can change the terms of the agreement at any time.

  • Never attempt to combine a travel discount with a WorldPoints redemption as WorldPoints can't be used with other discount programs.
