How to Resize a Picture in Paint

Windows 7 has now included a new version of MS Paint, which has a similar layout to the MS Office suite where all the menu option has been seperated into icons which covers 1/4 of the top of the screen, so to change the size of a picture it is a little different than how we are use to in the other versions of paint.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Windows 7
  • Paint
  • Picture
  1. Step 1
     

    Open paint and go to open to view the picture in paint

  2. Step 2
     

    Select the picture from your computer and click Open

  3. Step 3
     

    Click the Resize and Skew button up at the top left hand corner of the screen

  4. Step 4
     

    Change the values of 100 to something between 1-99 for example to make the picture half the size it orginally is put the value of 50 in both boxes and click ok

  5. Step 5
     

    If your satisfied with the new size of the picture go ahead and click save as.

    Congratulations you've successfully changed the size of your picture!
