Choose one color, such as the aqua blue, to cover the majority of the walls and floor. The remaining colors can be alternated along the middle of the room to denote a border. The border also should be arranged along the ceiling line in the areas, such as the tub and shower, where the tiles go all the way up to the ceiling.

Decorate with accents items that are made to look like or contain an image of colorful saltwater fish and deep ocean life. A vinyl shower curtain depicting an underwater scene can be used with a piece of netting in front of it. Find a thin piece of fish net online or in a sporting goods store; attach it to the shower curtain in the same fashion you would a liner and a curtain, with the net being the curtain.

Place a plain mirror or medicine cabinet over the sink, and make a border around it out of thick rope, the type used for mooring a boat. Use a hot glue gun to adhere it to the wall, and then use small, but long, pin nails to secure it to the wall.

Set out solid lush towels in all the colors of your tiles and the fish on your shower curtain. Use a small weathered brown basket to hold rolled-up washcloths that are in the solid colors of your theme. This can be placed on your vanity near the sink. Add a bath mat and throw rugs with the coordinating colors in various areas on the bathroom floor.

Use an inexpensive fish bowl as a candle holder for a blue pillar candle. At the bottom of the fish bowl, arrange sea shells or colorful gravel. Place this on a ledge near the tub, on the vanity or the back of the toilet bowl. Hang small pictures of fish, seahorses or mermaids on walls that are not tiled.
