Instructions

  1. How to Replace Sonicare Brush Heads

    • 1

Determine if your brush head requires replacement. The manufacturer recommends replacement every six months, but if you have braces you may need to replace the brush head more often, as the bristles will start to separate and fray.

    • 2

Remove the old brush head. You will be removing the brush and large nut that covers the top of the holder. Push down on the top of the removable nut. Lift the nut from the bottom. Remove and discard the entire brush and nut.

    • 3

Insert the new brush head. Match the bars on the inside top of the nut with the inside top of the handle and slide the brush onto the handle. Twist the nut clockwise until it is tight. Remove the plastic cover on the brush before using.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take the time to wipe out the inside of the holder, under the nut, every week. It will lengthen the life of your brush.
